KATIE MCELVY PHOTOGRAPHY

About

My name is Katie McElvy.  I am the owner/operator of Katie McElvy Photography.  I have been photographing in the Atlanta area since 2004.

Back in the late 90's, a friend gave me my first SLR camera and I knew then and there I had found a new passion.  I've never looked back.  I have spent countless hours over the last 18+ years learning and practicing different techniques to fine tune my art.

Over the years, my business has included weddings, portraits, senior portraits, special events, corporate events and real estate.  I also love to travel and will take any opportunity I can to shoot landscapes and architecture.

I would love to have the opportunity to be your photographer.

A Pictorial Hymn Book

A while back, I decided to make a Hymn book to used during my personal devotional time. I put together a book of favorite hymns accompanied by photos I have taken over the years.
I have always loved hymns, especially the thought provoking power and emotion that comes straight from the Word of God.
Hymns should be meditated upon. They should move you. They should teach you. As you read these words, think about what they mean. Read the punctuation. Where there is an exclamation point, read it as such. Many of these authors wrote these hymns after intense struggles and hardships, yet, they wrote of the love and hope of Jesus and they are joyful still. Read these words and be encouraged. Feel His presence, His mercy, His love for us, not because of anything we have done. Read these words and know the ever lasting, never failing, all encompassing love of God.

My Pictorial Hymn Book is available for purchase. If you would like a copy, click the button below. Once you place your order, you will receive payment information via email. Thank you!
